There’s just something about an early morning wedding that feels extra peaceful. No rushing around all day, no pressure to make things feel overly formal — just getting married surrounded by your favorite people and actually getting to soak it all in. That was exactly the vibe of Kaitlyn and Jack’s Weston Gardens wedding!
From the second I arrived, the entire day felt calm in the best way. Kaitlyn and Jack intentionally planned a smaller wedding with around 50 of their closest family and friends. It made everything feel so personal and relaxed. They cared way more about creating a meaningful experience than putting on a huge production. I honestly think that’s exactly what made the day feel so special!

I completely understood why Kaitlyn and Jack fell in love with Weston Gardens. The entire venue feels tucked away and peaceful while still being right in Fort Worth. Everywhere you turn there’s greenery, stone pathways, garden textures, and little pockets of light that photograph SO beautifully.
One thing they were especially excited about was the wisteria blooming around the property. But literally just days before the wedding, a huge gust of wind blew most of the petals away. Honestly though, it ended up becoming one of my favorite little details from the day. While we were photographing details, I noticed the fallen petals scattered across the ground and suggested styling Kaitlyn’s shoes and their rings with them. It ended up tying everything together in such a natural way and honestly felt even more sentimental knowing those petals were originally supposed to be hanging above them during the wedding. I feel like moments like that are such a good reminder that wedding days don’t have to go perfectly to still feel beautiful!

One thing Kaitlyn and Jack prioritized from the very beginning was making sure the day felt relaxed and stress free. And genuinely… you could feel that the entire wedding day. Nobody was overly concerned about sticking to some super rigid timeline. People were drinking coffee, talking outside in the gardens, slowly getting ready, and just being present. It felt effortless instead of performative, which honestly made the entire wedding feel even more emotional. I think smaller weddings naturally create space for that. When you’re surrounded by only your closest people, the day tends to feel less overwhelming and way more intentional.

There were so many little personal touches woven throughout the wedding that made everything feel incredibly meaningful. Kaitlyn’s sister made the desserts, which I loved so much. Those kinds of handmade details always make a wedding feel extra personal because they’re tied directly to the people surrounding the couple.
They also had coffee from Ivy Coffee Roasters, which fit the cozy morning wedding atmosphere perfectly. Between the coffee, the gardens, and the relaxed pacing of the day, everything felt warm and welcoming instead of overly formal.
And then of course… pizza catering at a wedding will always have my heart. Love Life Pizza was such a fun choice for the day and made everything feel even more laid back and intentional to them.
The florals by Ivory Bell Floral fit the venue perfectly too — soft, garden-inspired, and natural.

After photographing Kaitlyn and Jack’s wedding, I truly think Weston Gardens is such a perfect venue for couples wanting a wedding that feels intimate and relaxed while still being incredibly beautiful. The gardens photograph beautifully, the entire property feels peaceful, and it naturally creates a slower atmosphere that allows couples to actually enjoy their wedding day.
And honestly, if you’re someone who cares more about meaningful moments than putting on a huge production, this venue feels especially perfect for that!
